England have reached the quarter-finals of a major tournament for the third time in a row, and will have to knock out defending world champions France on Saturday night if they are reach back to back World Cup semi finals.
France go into the game as favourites, making it the first time England will be underdogs going into a game at this World Cup, and talkSPORT have collated the best odds and sign up offers ahead of Sunday’s big game.

Both nations won their respective groups quite comfortably, with France having qualified for the knockout stages with a game to spare and England being one of just three teams to finish the group with more than six points.
The defending world champions defeated Australia and Denmark in their opening two matches but fell to defeat in their final group game against Tunisia, though Les Bleus were already through and made nine changes to their starting XI.
Didier Deschamps’ side booked their spot in the last eight by comfortably beating Poland 3-1, where two goals from Kylian Mbappe saw him pull clear of the chasing pack in the hunt for the Golden Boot.
England beat Iran and Wales either side of a goalless draw with USA which was enough for Gareth Southgate’s men through as Group B winners, which saw them face Senegal in the last 16, where the Three Lions triumphed 3-0.
bet365 are among the bookies giving best odds for a France win in 90 minutes at 11/8, with Betfred pricing an England victory at 9/4. Sky Bet are offering 11/5 for the tie to head to extra time.
England have won just one of the last eight matches between the two sides, the most recent being a friendly at the Stade de France in 2017, ending in a 3-2 victory for the home side.
The winner of Saturday’s match will play one of Morocco, Portugal, Spain or Switzerland in the semi final.
